August in Review

It was an unusually quiet start to the month but things really got busy towards the end of August and we finished with another record number of properties captured. We attended some spectacular homes and captured a great variety of residential, commercial and rural properties. You can see below a selection of images taken throughout August and we also take a look at preparing your home for photography.

Preparing your home for photography - Kitchen

One of the most important parts of getting the best results from your photo shoot is the way you prepare the home. You can download our helpful Prepare Your Home Guide from our website and here are some tips on preparing the kitchen for photography.

  • Declutter & clean all surfaces.

  • Neatly arrange fruit or flowers for a welcoming touch.

  • Hide away bench top appliances such as toasters and kettles, remove magnets from the fridge.

  • Hide away items stored on top and sides of fridge and cupboards including tea towels, soap, cleaning products, plugs, dish rack, bins, floor mats, pet bowls, keys, etc.

  • Clean cook top & range hood and ensure light is working.
