September in Review
September was an extremely busy month for our team, along with the standard Spring increase in residential homes coming onto the market we also had an influx of rural properties and land. In addition to this ongoing work we completed a large project for Tasman Holiday Parks capturing images at Bright, South Bright, Bendigo, Warrnambool and Geelong. With over 1400 images delivered it was a lot of work for our photographer Nathan G who also got to experience the accommodation of these parks on his two week journey! Product Insight - Floor Plans
Floor plans have become a necessity in all property listings in recent years and are a useful tool for prospective buyers to easily see the layout of the home. Our staff will use a laser measurer onsite to capture the dimensions of the home and then we deliver a floor plan suitable for marketing in brochures and online. We an also draw up a plan direct from building plans if the vendor has them available. Meet our Director Nathan Clarke
How long have you worked as a real estate photographer?
I started the business in 2011 (formerly Top Snap Central Victoria), initially working by myself and then gradually adding other photographers as we grew over the years. Before that I was an AV Technician doing sound and lighting for corporate events at Crown Casino and The Grand Hyatt in Melbourne and Perth Convention Exhibition Centre… in Perth!
What has been the biggest change you have seen in the industry over the years?
When I first started a lot of the agents were still taking their own photos, but were quite happy to free up their time and pass the work onto a professional! The biggest technological change would have to be the introduction of drones. They are a lot more useful than the 20m poles we used to have to set up! Apart from capturing images at great heights to show the surrounding area, it is amazing to have the ability to place a camera anywhere you need to at lower heights to capture a tricky facade.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Most of my free time is spent with the kids and in the last couple of years have been involved in coaching junior sport. I also enjoy playing the guitar, going to the gym, and also getting in the ice bath and sauna!
Favourite holiday destination?
Wilsons Prom… have been going nearly every year since I was born, love the Victorian coastline and also spend time over summer at Cape Paterson. The Cinque Terre in Italy is pretty nice too!

What do you watch on TV?
Footy/Soccer, Seinfeld or music documentaries
Sports teams you support?
Essendon in the AFL, Melbourne City in the A League… and recently Tottenham in the Premier League
